UMA COMPARAÇÃO MUITO INTERESSANTE
O Campeonato Europeu realizado em Odense teve uma grande
importância para os atletas, uma vez que a nova formatação das Finais Olímpicas
foi colocada em prática, dando oportunidade aos mesmos de testarem suas
habilidades técnicas e o autocontrole que as novas Finais exigem dos atletas.
Com a participação das categorias, homens e mulheres,
seniores e juniores, constatamos que o desempenho muito semelhante entre as 4
categorias, considerando os resultados das Finais Olímpicas.
Na nova formatação das finais, todas as categorias disparam o
mesmo numero de tiros, em tempos iguais e o com mesmo processo de eliminação,
portanto com a mesma condição de stress. Baseado nesta igualdade de condições
de prova, é que pudemos comparar o desempenho entre as categorias e obtivemos
resultados interessantes.
Constatamos que não houve uma categoria que se destacasse
como sendo muito mais forte que outra nem muito fraca, pelo menos nesta
competição, seja por ser masculino ou feminino ou Junior, todos dispararam em
condições iguais e os melhores se destacaram independente da categoria.
Em carabina de Ar o melhor resultado foi de uma atleta mulher
Junior, seguida de uma mulher sênior e na Pistola de Ar o melhor resultado foi
de uma atleta mulher sênior seguida de um homem Junior.
Para podermos comparar o desempenho das categorias,
selecionamos os dois melhores atletas, medalha de ouro e prata, de cada uma
delas, pois dessa forma teremos os resultados daqueles que dispararam o mesmo
numero de tiros (20) tornando possível essa comparação.
Fiz esse comparativo por uma simples curiosidade minha e
posso dizer que fiquei satisfeito de ver que os jovens atletas estão no caminho
certo que poderá levá-los ao Rio de Janeiro em 2016 e com certeza teremos nos
Jogos Olímpicos da Juventude, em 2014, resultados surpreendentes.
Veja abaixo, a tabela dos resultados que eu montei para fazer
o comparativo entre as categorias de atletas.

A VERY
INTERESTING COMPARISON
The European
Championship held in Odense had a great importance for the athletes,
considering that a new format of the Olympic Finals was put into practice,
giving them the opportunity to test their technical skills and self-control
that the new Final requires from the athletes.
With the
participation of different categories, men and women, seniors and juniors, we
found that the performance was very similar between the 4 categories, considering
the results of the Finals.
In the new
format of the Finals, all categories fired the same number of shots in the same
timing and with the same process of elimination, so the same stress condition.
Based on these equal conditions of competition, is the reason I could compare
the performance between categories and obtained interesting results.
I found that
there was no category that stood out as being much stronger than the other or
very weak, at least in this competition, either being men or women or Junior,
all shots was fired in the same conditions and the best stand out regardless of
category.
The best
result in Air rifle was achieved by a Woman Junior athlete, followed by a
Senior Woman athlete. In Air Pistol the best result was obtained by Senior Woman
athlete then followed by a Man Junior.
In order to
compare the performance of the different categories, I selected the two best athletes,
gold and silver, in each category, because that way we will have the result of
those who fired the same number of shots (20) making this comparison possible.
I made this
comparison by a simple curiosity and I can tell that I was pleased to see that the
young athletes are on the right path that will lead them to Rio de Janeiro in
2016 and for sure we will have in the YOG 2014 surprising results.
