The 2016 ISSF World Cup Series will kick off on the 1st of March 2016, and will touch seven countries in three continents.
The International Shooting Sport Federation unveiled the dates of the 2016 ISSF World Cup Stages.
The 2016 ISSF World Cup Series will kick off at the beginning of March in Bangkok, Thailand, where the first Rifle and Pistol World Cup stage will be held between the 1st and the 9th of March. The World Cup Series will then move on to Nicosia, Cyprus, where the first ISSF Shotgun World Cup Stage will be organized from the 17th through the 25th of March.
A combined World Cup Stage in Rifle, Pistol and Shotgun events will be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from the 14thtrough the 25th of April, serving as test event for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
May will be opened by an ISSF Shotgun World Cup Stage in Baku, Azerbaijan (1 to 15) and will continue with a Rifle and Pistol World Cup in Munich, Germany (19 to 26).
San Marino will host the last ISSF Shotgun World Cup of the season from the 2nd through the 12th of June, while the last Rifle and Pistol stage will be conducted on the ranges of the 2014 ISSF World Championships in Granada, Spain, from the 20th through the 28th of June.
The dates of the ISSF World Cup Finals are not decided yet, and will be published as soon as possible on the ISSF online calendar at http://www.issf-sports.org/calendar.ashx
