The competition took place in Cairo (EGY) from November 28th to December 7th, and saw the host nation pocket 10 of the awarded slots.
Another continental competition took place in Cairo (EGY) from November 28th to December 7th, awarding 14 quota places for Rio 2016 to African athletes competing in the 15 Olympic events.
Egypt collected most of the available quotas, nailing 10 of them, while Algeria, Namibia, Tunisia and Zimbabwe pocketed one each.
More slots for the 2016 Olympic Games will be awarded in New Delhi (IND) in January and in Gyor (HUN) in February.
