Today's Skeet Men final concluded the 2013 ISSF Shotgun World Cup in Nicosia, Cyprus. There, more than 380 shooters coming from 58 countries competed in the five Olympic events of shotgun shooting from the 10 to the 16 of June. Following Acapulco (MEX) and Al Ain (UAE), Nicosia's was the third step of this year's ISSF Wolrd Cup Series.
“It has been a great competition. We have to thank the Cyprus Shooting Sport Federation for hosting such a successful World Cup Stage.” The ISSF Secretary General Franz Schreiber said, at today's closing ceremony.
“We are proud to be entrusted by the International Shooting Sport Federation, and we hope to have all of you athletes back again here in Cyprus soon.” Mr. Demetris Lordos, the President of the Cyprus Shooting Sport Federation replied.

Italy finished atop of the medal standings, with one medal of each color. The People's Republic of China and the Russian Federation followed in second place, with one Gold medal each. The home country, Cyprus, ended up in sixth place, with one Silver medal won at the Skeet Women event, yesterday.
