THE CHAMPIONS TROPHY SPONSORED BY SIUS ASCOR
The well known Champions’
Trophy sponsored SIUS Ascor, the Swiss Company producing the targets used at
the Olympic Games, closed the 2012 ISSF World Cup Final held in Bangkok,
Thailand, from the 22nd to the 27th of October.
The Champions’
Trophy brings together the very best shooters, selected among the best
athletes of the season. Only the World Cup Final medallists are indeed
eligible to participate in this classic competition, which award a
money-price of 5.000,00 Euro offered by SIUS.
The formula of the
Champions’ Trophy is easy and challenging at the same time. How does it work? Line up the best shooters
of the world on a 10-meter range, let them choose between an air pistol and
an air rifle event, and let them shoot in a knock-out round.
After four
competition shots, the participant with the lowest score goes out, and from
there on, one shot after the other, the shooter with the lowest total has to
leave the match.
When only two
athletes are left on the firing line, the total goes back to zero, and three
shots are fired to decide the winner of the Champions Trophy.
The bests Pistol and
Rifle shooters will win 5.000,00 Euro each, thanks to the SIUS ASCOR Company,
the official targets and results provider sponsoring the match.
To make everything a
bit more interesting, the audience is pushed by the speaker to be “as loud as
possible” while cheering and supporting their champions.
It was the Japanese
hero Tomoyuki Matsuda who won the Pistol Champions trophy outdoing the young
Russian champion Leonid Ekimov, who had won the trophy last year.
The Rifle Champions
Trophy finished in favour of Yu Dan, the 2012 Olympic Bronze medallist, who
secured the price by eliminating Germany’s record holder Sonja Pfeilschifter
in a head-to-head duel.

Matsuda e YU ganharam o TROFÉU DOS CAMPEÕES patrocinado pela SIUS

O já conhecido Troféu dos Campeões patrocinado pela SIUS Ascor, a
empresa Suíça produtora dos alvos utilizados nos Jogos Olímpicos, encerrou
"ISSF World Cup Final" 2012, realizada em Bangkok, na
Tailândia, de 22 a 27 de outubro.
O Troféu dos Campeões reúne os melhores atiradores, selecionados entre
os melhores atletas da temporada. Somente os medalhistas do “World Cup Final”
são efetivamente elegíveis para participarem nesta competição clássica, que
concede um premio em dinheiro de 5.000,00 euros oferecidos pelo SIUS.
A fórmula do Troféu dos Campeões é fácil e desafiador ao mesmo tempo.
Como é que funciona? Alinhe os melhores atiradores do mundo num estande de 10
metros, deixando-os escolherem entre um evento de pistola de ar e um evento
carabina de ar e permitir que dispararem uma rodada de eliminação (knock-out).
Depois de quatro tiros de competição, o participante com a menor
pontuação é eliminado e, a partir daí, tiro após tiro, o atirador com o menor
pontuação tem que deixar o posto.
Quando restarem apenas dois atletas na linha de tiro, a pontuação
será zerada, e, três tiros serão disparados para decidir o vencedor do Troféu
dos Campeões.
Os melhores atiradores de Pistola e Carabina ganharão 5.000,00 euros
cada um, somos gratos à Companhia SIUS ASCOR, fornecedora oficial dos alvos e
dos resultados, pelo patrocínio da competição.
Para tornar tudo um pouco mais interessante, o público é empurrado
pelo alto-falante para ser "o mais alto possível", enquanto
aplaudindo e apoiando os seus campeões.
Ele foi o herói japonês Tomoyuki Matsuda que ganhou o troféu dos Campeões
de Pistola superando o jovem campeão russo Leonid Ekimov, que havia vencido o
troféu no ano passado.
O Troféu dos Campeões de Carabina terminado em favor de Yu Dan, a medalhista olímpica de bronze 2012, que garantiu o premio, eliminando a
atiradora Alemã. detentora do recorde, Pfeilschifter Sonja num duelo “cabeça-a-cabeça”.
