China atop of the medals standings

After seven days of
competitions and ten events conducted, China finished atop of the medals
standings of the second 2013 ISSF Rifle and Pistol World Cup Stage. “A
successful event”, as stated by ISSF authorities, and as proved by the world
records scored there.

After ten events, the People's Republic of China finished atop of the medals standings. Two Gold, four Silver and one Bronze medals placed indeed the Chinese team well ahead of their opponents, with a total of seven medals.
Germany followed in second, with two Gold medals, one Silver and two Bronze medals won in both Rifle and Pistol events. Serbia finished on the medal standings podium, with two Gold, one Silver and one Bronze, thanks to the last-minute victory of Andrija Zlatic at today's 50m Pistol Men final.
“Successful event!” ISSF authorities said.

“This has been a fantastic
competition, with excellent results, and an excellent organization.” The ISSF
Technical Delegate Mr. Carlos Silva Monterroso said today, while officially
closing the 2013 ISSF World Cup in Fort Benning, GA, USA.
“International athletes scored great results and marked new world records during this world cup, which turned into a great success. We would like to thank all the officials and the volunteers, and the US Army Marksmanship Unit, that hosted us in these facilities.” The ISSF Vice-President and President of USA Shooting, Mr. Gary Anderson said.
Not time to rest – ISSF World Cup Series on to Munich.
The best don't rest! The ISSF World Cup Series will now move on to Munich,
Germany, where the next Rifle & Pistol Stage will be held at the 1972
Olympic Shooting Range from the 24 trough the 30 of May.
