13th ISSF Championship Organizers Workshop conducted in Munich

The annual meeting between ISSF and the ISSF Championship Organizers was conducted in Munich on November 20 and 21, and saw the participation of over 60 delegates.
The 13th ISSF Championship Organizers Workshop was held at the Hilton Hotel Am Tucherpark in Munich (GER), on the 20th and 21st of November.

There, the Organizers of next years' shooting championships met ISSF officials and experts in different functional areas, the official ISSF results providers, and the organizers of past ISSF competitions, to share best practices in several organizational areas, and to plan the media coverage of the forthcoming events.

The ISSF Secretary General Franz Schreiber and the ISSF Vice-President Gary Anderson (who chaired the meeting) welcomed the workshop participants in behalf of the ISSF President Olegario Vazquez Raña.

Over 60 delegates of different Organizing Committees participated in the meetings, at the presence of the ISSF Vice-Presidents Luciano Rossi and Wang Yifu, and along with ISSF Executive Committee, Administrative Council and Section Committees members.

“The ISSF Championship Organizers Workshop reached its 13th edition, and it has proved to be an important tool to prepare the next ISSF championships.” The ISSF Secretary General Franz Schreiber said. “We all have a common goal: to deliver great championships, for our athletes, and for our shooting sport fans. Only if we organize excellent competitions, we will succeed in our mission of supporting our sport and our athletes in the best way!”

“The Workshop sees the participation of delegates form all ISSF Championships of the current year, the next year and optionally in the year after next. Teamwork, networking and sharing our experiences is key to make our championships better. Thank you to all our presenters!” The ISSF Vice-President Gary Anderson said, closing the workshop, this afternoon.
