The Hungarian Shooting Federation hosted a Rifle and Shotgun D Course

The course took place from October 30th to November 1st, and was held by Mr. Kevin Kilty and Mr. Kimmo Yli-Jasjkari.
The Hungarian Shooting Federation hosted the second ISSF D Courses for regional coaches in Budapest.

The class marked the 24th ISSF D Course and was very well attended with over 30 coaches participating throughout the course, which was held between the 30th of October and the 1st of November.

The Hungarian Shooting Federation has placed great importance on running the D course to complete the work they started with a Pistol D course tutored by ISSF A licensed coach Csaba Gyorik.

Representing the ISSF Training Academy were head tutors Mr. Kevin Kilty (Shotgun) and Mr. Kimmo Yli-Jasjkari (Rifle). Mr Kilty spoke highly of the organising committee. "The commitment of the Hungarian Shooting Federation in the work they have done to make this course happen is commendable. They have arranged for accurate translation of all the course material and provided knowledgeable fellow shooters and coaches to act as our translators. All of which has combined to make the course a great success."

Speaking of the participants on the course Mr. Yli-Jaskari said: "I've been very impressed with the attention to detail and the questions I have been asked during the course. The coaches have been very engaged during the course and that adds greatly to the success of the course."

Many of the coaches attending the course have expressed their interest in pursuing their education with the ISSF Training Academy. Secretary General of the Hungarian Shooting Federation Mr. Laszlo Sinka spoke highly of the course. “We are delighted to welcome the ISSF Training Academy tutors to Budapest and to see the work they do to promote and develop the sport of shooting. We are committed to developing the shooting sport and the attendance on this course is a great sign for the future of our sport in Hungary.”
