2013 ISSF CHAMPIONSHIP ORGANIZERS WORKSHOP SUCCESSFULLY CONDUCTED IN MUNICH

ISSF Championship Organizers met in Munich, Germany, on Friday the 22nd and Saturday the 23rd of November.
The 2013 ISSF Championship Organizers Workshop was successfully conducted at the Hilton Hotel Am Tucherpark in Munich on Friday the 22nd and Saturday the 23rd of November.
The Organizers of next years' championship met ISSF officials and experts in different functional areas, the official results providers, and the organizers of the past championship editions, to share best practices.
The ISSF President Olegario Vazquez Raña and the ISSF Secretary General Franz Schreiber welcomed the Workshop participants, speaking about the highlights of the 2013 Shooting Sport season which was concluded by the ISSF Rifle and Pistol World Cup Final in Munich, the last 12 of November.
“A new successful chapter of the centenary history of the Shooting Sport has been opened this year, with the introduction of the new ISSF Rules including new final formats.” Mr Schreiber said.
“Organizers of ISSF Championship meet here once a year to share experiences and best practices, to report on past events and to work on future competitions.”
“We are looking forward to a successful workshop meeting, as we welcome here in Munich the Organizers of our future Championship, the members of the ISSF Executive Committee, of the ISSF Administrative Council and of the Section Committees.”
“All four ISSF Vice-Presidents are here, remarking once again the status of these meetings.” Mr Schreiber concluded.
The ISSF Vice-President Gary Anderson opened the meetings, remarking the keywords of this year's Workshop in front of over 90 participants.
“Teamwork. Great Championship. Great Media Impact. Sport Presentation improvements. These are the goals we all want to reach.” Mr Anderson said.
“The ISSF Workshop is a unique chance to meet and speak about our events.”
“Our aim is to learn from the past Championship, and improve for the future. This year's Workshop has been a successful example of teamwork.”
