Iran's Ahmadi beats India's Chandela to finish atop of the 10m Air Rifle Women podium in Munich

The 33-year old Iranian shooter secured the world cup title, just weeks after winning her first world cup stage in Gabala (AZE)
Iran's Elaheh Ahmadi (33) claimed gold at today's 10m Air Rifle Women event, at the 2015 ISSF World Cup Final in Munich, Germany, finishing atop of the podium after a neck and neck duel against India's Apurvi Chandela (22).
Ahmadi scored 207.5 points, securing the brightest medal with 0.6 points of advantage on Chandela, who finished in second place with 206.9 points.
The Iranian shooter had qualified for this world cup final by winning gold at the last world cup stage of the season, in Gabala (AZE), last August.
Andrea Arsovic of Serbia (28) joined them on the podium, pocketing the bronze medal with 186.4 points, after passing through a shoot-off against Valentina Gustin of Croatia (18), today's youngest finalist, who took fourth place with 165.5 points.
Arsovic's teammate - London's 50m Rifle 3 Positions silver medallist Ivana Maksimovic (25) – followed them in fifth place with 144.2 points, finishing ahead of the 2008 Olympic bronze medallist Snjezana Pejcic of Croatia (33), sixth with 123.4 points.
Today's final turned into a disappointing match for the reigning Olympic champion and world cup title defender Yi Siling of the People's Republic of China (26), who was eliminated after the tenth final shot taking seventh place with 102.5 points. Her teammate Zhang Binbin followed in eighth place, with 81.8 points.
