The term of office is four years and will be until April 2017. The confederation was under judicial administration, and had Paulo Lima e Silva directing the entity, since April 2010. In his speech, the elected president said his willingness is to count on the support of all Federations including those who did not vote on him. Fred said that the Confederation will be at the service of all members, and said the aims for his management will be to increase the number of practitioners of the shooting sports throughout the country and a large preparation of our top athletes, looking for good results in the Pan-American Games in Toronto, Canada in 2015 and in the Olympics in Rio in 2016.
